Upon completion he spent four years providing Lama service to many locals in Kathmandu, and then entered another three year retreat in Lhakhang, Yolmo. Again under the guidance of Kyabje Rinpoche to further his meditation experience. His main practice is Kunchog Chidu, a Terma of Rigzin Jyatson Ningpo, for which he has received the entire lineage of practices. He has also received the Dudjom Tersar Lineage practices as well as various empowerments of the Longchen Nyingthik Tradition. His Main Teacher was Kyabje Chatral Rinpoche, with whom he has studied since his early childhood. “Chatral Rinpoche has many precious disciples, who are great scholars and yogins. To go to the retreat centers, to give advice and teachings and to give Three Roots Empowerments Rinpoche sends Lama Dawa. Lama Dawa is like his son, he is always around him.” Sagyum Kamala
